Welcome to this week's triple edition of The Nerdy Times! For the nextthree days we will be bringing you interviews with the cast of theRoger Corman Cult-Classic, The Fantastic Four. This is a film that haslived in infamy amongst comic book fans. Filmed in the early 90's on asmall budget, the film looked to bring Marvel's iconic quartet to thebig screen, in live-action, for the first time. The film was neverreleased however and was shelved, but some innovative boot-legger gotit out to comic book conventions and the rest is history. Today is myfirst set of interviews with them men who play Reed Richards andDoctor Doom, Alex Hyde-White and Joseph Culp. Enjoy!

The Dark Knight Rises-Teaser

Hope this installment lives up to the last two. I've been hoping that somewould would tell a descent version of Knightfall, and from what little details there are it sounds like they are at least taking that premise. For those who don't know, in Knightfall, Bane come to Gotham to break the Batman. He releases all the Arkham inmates and Batman runs an exhausting gauntlet to recapture all the inmates. When he finally has them all imprisoned and crawls back to Wayne manor, he finds Bane there waiting for him. Bane and Batman have an epic fight, that climaxes with Bane breaking Batman's back.

I doubt Batman will have his back broken by Bane in this film, but the other elements of the story look to be there. They announced an open casting call for The Dark Knight Rises where they wanted extras to play inmates or terrified citizens. So that seems to play in to the idea that Bane might actually do that. Also, at the end of the trailer you see what appears to be a struggling Batman in a confrontation with Bane.

Enjoy the teaser!

The Nerdy Times-Captain America

Watched the Super Bowl yesterday, not so much for the game as for the commericials, and was excited to see the Captain America teaser. I like what I see here in the video. The special effects on him pre-super soldier serum look great; it's really getting amazing what we're able to do with computer effects today. Also in the trailer you get the breifest glimpse of the Red Skull, and he too looks excellent, as though he were lifted straight off the page. This teaser is all I need to want to watch the whole movie, don't spoil any more with lengthy trailers. This is enough!
