Hello again, one and all, to week six of our "epic" odyssey. Deep inside a cave, owned by an insane wizard, who employs Dwarven Miners, who are rubbish at mining or being useful in general; we find ourselves going deeper and deeper looking for their missing friend. With this much "peril" we'll need our wits, our luck, and going this far down The Good Climber!
Some things I need to apologize for:
The sound is just about as good as it has been, so there are no new developments in that department. However if you do notice the overall sound change midway through the episode, that's because this is actually two sessions spliced together on two separate dates, and we're at Dan's house instead of mine.
The In-Jokes:
Our Previous Campaign-there is a large reference to our previous campaign that Justin ran briefly, before deciding he let us get too powerful. In that game I playeda ninety year old wizard/cleric that I modeled after Abe Simpson from The Simpsons, even going as far as to talk as much like him as I could. I also drew the whole party as Simpsons characters, and Dan's fighter was Ralph Wiggum. So anytime you hear Dan, or anyone else say "I'm a warrior" in a high pitched voice, that's their best Ralph immitation and a reference to that character. We all really enjoyed the game, but we think just had had enough of us. So he changed it up. I'm attatching the Simpsons D&D adventuring party picture I drew of us below. Enjoy!
The Spicey Apple-A few weeks ago, during the game Dan had brought over a large playe of sliced apples and I had made the Angry chicken as usual. during the game at some point I had gotten up, and in a moment of...something, I took an apple slice and dipped it in the Angry Chicken and ate it. A bit of the table reaction is noticeable during a previous podcast. In this episode Joe and Dan try it to varying levels of "enjoyment".

Hello again, one and all, I'm Coarey and welcome to week five. Well last week our journey to Baldur's Gate, through a wicked blizzard, was detoured when we ran in to a group of Dwarves that have some friends trapped in a mine. So we step up to the plate and decided to help out these helpless fellows. Journeying to the home of a mentally unstable elf wizard, because the entrance to the cave lies inside his house, we get in to a bit of trouble when some of us start snooping around. Anyone want to come along? We're Going Left!

The In-Jokes:
Going Left- This one is very recent. Justin ran us in a short-lived campaign very recently, and at the climax of the game we had to traverse a maze of underground caverns to find some dragon eggs. Well as we began that nights adventure I made the suggestion to follow the left so we didn't get lost, and everyone agreed that would be best idea. It's an old video gamer's trick. Just keep following the left wall and and eventually you'll map out everywhere there is to go in the maze. Well this put one hell of a dent in cavern maze he was hoping we'd get lost in. It got to the point where we had to tell him to just stop describing the hallways until we get to something interesting like a room, ect. Justin wasn't happy.

This is Coarey again and welcome to week four! Turns out our calling that called us to this town has stopped calling and now...call-less...we are taking the advice of our new bard friend, Eronin, to journey to Baldur's Gate. And it's the most wonderful time of the year to take a twelve day on foot road trip, right? Well if you like snowy blizzards it is. My character? Not a fan. Join us in our long walk in this weeks episode Cold is Hell!

The In-Jokes:
Coarey and Percentile Rolls- I have, many, many times asked for something to happen or for something in game, and been told by the GM, no. It started with me saying “If I can roll a one on percentiles, then can I have it?” and just to watch me fail and shut me up they'd say yes. But I wouldn't fail. Not everytime, but more often than not, I get it. I did it so many times, my friend James forbid even letting me roll for stuff and told other people not to let me. Some people didn't heed his advice and counter offered me by choosing a specific number, and I rolled them. I'm not psychokenetic or using loaded dice, just lucky. So GM beware giving me the opportunity. It might just bite you in the arse!

Slystorm is an archer with an appetite for the ladies. Looking to seduce anyone and everyone who will give him the time of day, and even those who don't. Me, Coarey, I'm the guy at the table that Dan looks to to advance plot. Well, I try to, in my own way. I think Justin (Our GM) would be much happier if our pursuits were a little more noble in their efforts. But what can you do.
