Hello everyone, this is Dan. I have a special show for you today. This past weekend April 22-24 2011 Coarey and I were invited down to Conglomeration in Louisville, KY. We were on two panels dealing with GMing. The first panel was on how to be a better GM and turned into a round table discussion with some very good ideas presented. The Con was kind enough to get me record this session and since it was a two hour panel I split it into two podcasts. Today is the first part and tomorrow the second.

I could like to thank the folks at Conglomeration for inviting us to attend and say hello to all the new friends we met there!

The Nerdy Times-All Games Considered

All Games Considered is a podcast that embraces tablet-top and role games. Hosted by Mags, Carol, and Mark the group delves in to topics not only about game specifics but in to how to improve your games as well. Most recently, Dan and myself (Coarey) had the chance to sit down with them at their local convention in Louisville, Kentucky...Conglomeration. While there we were interviewed by them about our gaming history and even co-hosted some panels on Game Mastering and Dealing With Difficult Players. There was a great turn-out for both panels and We will be hosting the audio of those sessions later this week.

Until then I encourage you to head over to their website and give them a listen. They are a familly friendly podcast that wants everyone to enjoy the world of gaming as much as they do. We should have the first of the two live panels with them, and Convention guest of honor Andy Chambers, up tomorrow.

The Nerdy Times-Conglomeration 2011

If you've been listening to our podcast at all then you've heard the add for Louisville, Kentucky's Science-Fiction/Fantasy convention, Conglomeration. The dates of the Con are April 22nd-24th and looks to have a great line-up of guests and activities to attend. Guests of Honor are Peter David, author for every conceiveable form of merdia; doing work for shows like Babylon 5 and writing novels for Star Trek and an excellent run on the Incredible Hulk comic. Andy Chambers, who did work on the Warhammer 40k 3rd and 4th editions as well as Starcraft II will be in attendence; and artist Kristen Kest who done covers for many publications including the Magazine of Science Fiction and Fantasy.

Need more? How about a Klingon Ballet? Shit yeah! That's right, Klingons AND ballet! That's a match made in heaven. There's going to be some live podcasting going on by the folks from All Games Considered, and myself and fellow GameKnight Dan will be joining them for the fun. Dan and I will be all over the Con that weekend. I'll be at their writer's panel sharing my thoughts on what it's liek to be an author. We'll also be on the panel "How to deal with difficult players"; if there's one thing we know alot about it's difficult players. Dan will have his photography gear set up at the masquerade and you get have a profession photo taken of you in your costume done by him.

So if you want to have a good time, head on down to Louisville, KY Easter weekend and join Dan, myself, and all the other guest for

The Nerdy Times-Conglomeration 2011

Welcome to this Monday's news and today we're doing a little bit of pre-promotion. We here at the GameKnights-Podcast recieved an e-mail from a fellow podcaster asking us for assistance in promoting their upcomping convention. The Convention is called Conglomeration and it is in Louisville, KY. It's a science-fiction and fantasy convention and as any nerd knows, a convention is where we can really let ourselves go. They've scheduled several guests, an art show, gaming, a masquerade, and of course they will have a dealer's room. It sounds pretty good and me and a couple of the other GameKnights are going to try and head down to be a part of it. I'm linking their hompage to this article as well as one of their audio promos; so check them out and see if you can leave an opening for some travel on your Easter weekend to be a part of it!
